Though somewhat repetitive at times, Fuurai no Shiren 2 is one of the best dungeon crawlers you can play, and one of the most engaging games for the console. Some of the games listed here are actually not quite import friendly, but I can guarantee that all of them are quality games nevertheless.
There are still quite a few nice imports you can pick up for your Nintendo 64, such as Bakuretsu Muteki Bangai-Ou, Densha de Go!
If you have never played Bomberman (where have you been all these years?
), it is a mix of puzzle and action where you have to place bombs in the correct places in order to clear obstacles on the scenery and blow up your enemies.
The game follows the motto "if it is not broken, do not fix it" and plays like an improved version of its Super Famicom predecessors. It is a sin this game has never been released overseas, because it is one of the most innovative and well designed games for the Nintendo 64. The best aspect of the game is that it has a great sense of freedom: you have to live the best way you can afford, but how you will do it is up to you.
